VMware Recognizes ePlus as Americas Solution Provider of the Year
PALO ALTO, Calif., April 30, 2009 — VMware, Inc. The award was announced at VMware Partner Exchange 2009, which took place in Orlando, Fla., April 14-16. ePlus won this award based in part on its overall growth, number of new opportunities closed, ability to provide solutions across the entire VMware portfolio and overall commitment and expertise driving virtualization solutions.

VMware Partner Exchange 2009, a three-day event, offered access to 130 sessions and an exhibit pavilion that showcased how partners can best accelerate their virtualization businesses in 2009. Partner attendees were also provided a preview into the next generation of products and programs coming from VMware.
The conference presented an exclusive opportunity to hear from VMware executives including Rick Jackson, chief marketing officer; Tod Nielsen, chief operating officer; Carl Eschenbach, executive vice president of worldwide field operations; and Dr. Stephen Herrod, chief technology officer. The event enabled partners to network with more than 1,500 peers from the VMware global partner ecosystem to share ideas and build relationships.
