VMware Extends Partnership With Samsung to Include AirWatch Enterprise Mobility Management and Samsung KNOX Workspace

ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwired - September 22, 2015) - Today at AirWatch® Connect™, the leading event in enterprise mobility, VMware, Inc. (NYSE: VMW) announced two new reselling agreements with Samsung. VMware will resell Samsung KNOX Workspace globally, and Samsung Business Services, part of Samsung Electronics America, will now offer the industry-leading AirWatch by VMware™ Enterprise Mobility Management™ Suite in the United States.

  • Advanced application management to easily manage, secure and record public, internal and purchased apps.

VMware will offer a range of supporting services to help customers onboard Samsung KNOX Workspace, including procurement, policy enablement, app installation and deployment on the latest Samsung Galaxy devices. KNOX Workspace is Samsung's government-certified container solution which secures devices from both the hardware and software levels.

This strategic alliance also enables Samsung Business Services to resell the AirWatch by VMware Enterprise Mobility Management Suite in the United States. AirWatch helps customers deliver mobility management in a simple, secure fashion, integrating with existing enterprise systems to manage all devices from a central console.
