Partners Support Next Evolution of VMware Partner Connect Program

SYDNEY, Australia (March 21, 2023) – VMware Partner Connect is a singular, unified program for all partner types that is now more flexible and efficient, provides faster and simpler paths to progression, delivers more incentives, and rewards partners for both performance and capabilities. Through Partner Connect, VMware is reinventing the partner experience for the multi-cloud era. VMware’s strategy is for every partner to own the customer lifecycle end-to-end, leading with services, partnering with others, and building predictable, recurring revenue streams.

Read today’s news and see what partners are saying below about the next evolution of VMware Partner Connect, which is now live.

Atea Group

“Atea strives to be the hub of our customers’ digital ecosystems, and our relationship with VMware continues to be central to this endeavor,” said Håkon Gutierrez, Business Development Director for Atea Group. “With the new Partner Connect updates, we will not only be recognised for our exceptional sales performance, but also for the considerable investments we continue to make in VMware certifications and competencies. With VMware’s multi-cloud and digital workspace solutions, combined with our own IT advisory, installation, operations, and support services, we are helping customers to design, implement and manage the digital foundation upon which their organisation depends.”

Bechtle AG

“Managed Services are indispensable in times like these where digital transformation is accelerating for companies of all sizes and across all sectors,” said Roland Koenig, Head of Virtualisation at Bechtle AG. “VMware’s newly transformed Partner Connect program will reward Bechtle as we drive our services-led growth opportunities and deliver meaningful outcomes to our customers. Additionally, the insights to which we will now have access will enable us to manage our VMware book of business more efficiently and effectively.”

CDI

“CDI is excited to continue growing our relationship with VMware as a new Pinnacle Partner,” said William Huber, chief technology officer at CDI. “The multi-cloud services and solutions VMware brings to market compliment CDI’s focus areas across hybrid cloud infrastructure, modern applications, digital workspace, digital workflow, intelligent operations, and security. It is obvious that a lot of thought went into the evolution of the Partner Connect program. VMware dramatically simplified their incentives and is placing more emphasis on cloud and SaaS, which is where we see our customers going. The new points structure will also now recognise CDI for both capabilities and service offerings on top of sales.”

Consegna

“Our customers move faster and reduce risk by leveraging VMware in their transformation, so we have some very aggressive growth targets in place for the next three years, and we’re working with VMware to bring these to fruition,” said James Windsor, Director of Sales, A/NZ at Consegna. “These new programs are going to help us get there. They’re going to be very competitive in the marketplace, and I’m sure they’re going to be very well-received. VMware’s partner incentives span the entire sales cycle and customer journey, from the demand generation/acceleration phase, through the transaction and, finally, for usage and consumption.”

Orro

“Being a VMware partner, we have been leveraging VMware’s undeniable experience in the industry and innovative technology to provide customers with a cloud stack that puts better security front and centre,” said Jonathan Plaskow, Director of Cloud Services at Orro. “As a relatively new brand in the market, having the support of VMware’s rich partner community has been critical to help us drive more value for our customers and assist them in becoming cloud smart. We’re looking forward to seeing how the enhanced Partner Connect program will continue to bring further benefits to our ecosystem.”

Presidio

“Presidio’s customers want a single partner to help them strategically leverage multi-cloud and support their innovation and digital transformation,” said Raphael Meyerowitz, Engineering VP, Solutions and Strategic Partnerships at Presidio. “With the new Partner Connect Program, we will be more aligned with VMware in how together, we go to market to address these opportunities and deliver impactful business outcomes for our mutual customers. We’re excited to be recognised as a new Pinnacle Partners which validates our close alignment and deep expertise with VMware.”

Softchoice

“VMware is being very progressive in realising that the way partners operate their business often doesn’t fit into a single box. We particularly appreciate that VMware is doubling on services. They are taking a build-it-together approach to elevate Softchoice’s ability to drive increased value through cloud, managed and professional services to customers.”
