Alister Dias promoted VP Software Defined Data Centre APJ
SYDNEY, Australia – June 15, 2020 – VMware, Inc. (NYSE:VMW), a leading innovator in enterprise software, today announced the appointment of Brad Anderson as Vice President, Australia and New Zealand.
Bringing with him 25 years of enterprise technology experience, Brad will play a critical role in leading the team to enable customers to modernise their IT environments and take an agile approach to business challenges. He joins VMware with a strong industry portfolio, including most recently being responsible for running the cloud and cognitive software business at IBM ANZ. Prior to holding several leadership roles within IBM, Brad led business development and market expansion at Sophos and Kanbay (now part of Capgemini). After beginning his career as a security professional, Brad continues to be a certified security specialist.

Brad’s appointment follows the appointment of Alister Dias to Vice President, Software Defined Data Centre for VMware Asia Pacific and Japan. Alister’s new role will see him will work closely with customers across the region to help modernize their digital strategies and transform their businesses.
