LAS VEGAS—VMware Explore 2025—Today at VMware Explore 2025, Broadcom Inc. announced new and enhanced solutions designed to help organizations modernize infrastructure, accelerate AI adoption, and strengthen cyber resilience in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. These announcements build on Broadcom’s vision of delivering a unified AI native private cloud platform that simplifies operations, empowers developers, and addresses the security and compliance demands of modern enterprises.
Organizations continue to face mounting challenges as they navigate the complexities of cloud environments, escalating costs, and heightened security risks. At the same time, the rapid emergence of agentic AI applications and multimodal data workloads has introduced new requirements for governance, performance, and scalability.
To address these realities, enterprises must shift from fragmented architectures to a holistic private cloud platform that combines operational efficiency, built-in AI services, and a Zero Trust security posture without compromising compliance or cost control.
Making VMware Cloud Foundation an AI Native Platform
In June 2025, VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 9.0 redefined what a modern private cloud could be. Today, Broadcom announced VMware Private AI Services will become a standard component of VCF 9.0, making VCF an AI native platform that customers can adopt for secure, modern private cloud infrastructure at scale. VCF customers will also have access to forthcoming AI innovations such as Intelligent Assist for VCF, Model Context Protocol (MCP) support, and a multi-accelerator model runtime that will enable organizations to flexibly deploy AI models across a range of hardware, including AMD and NVIDIA GPUs, without the need to refactor AI applications.
Elevating Cyber Resilience, Compliance, and Security for the Modern Private Cloud
Broadcom announced the new VCF Advanced Cyber Compliance solution and updates across VMware vDefend and VMware Avi Load Balancer to strengthen resilience, compliance and security for customers adopting a modern private cloud in regulated industries. VCF Advanced Cyber Compliance integrates industry-leading technologies spanning policy management, infrastructure security and cyber resilience.
An AI-Ready Data and Application Platform to Drive Agentic AI Innovation
To accelerate the development of new software and infuse enterprise applications with more intelligence based on proprietary enterprise data, Broadcom announced VMware Tanzu Data Intelligence, a data lakehouse platform that provides unified, low-latency access to multimodal data at scale to drive faster, more secure analytics, applications, and agentic AI. It also introduced VMware Tanzu Platform 10.3, which accelerates the safe development and integration of GenAI capabilities into both new and existing enterprise applications.
