Bouygues Telecom, a French all-round operator of digital communications and services, has initiated an ambitious development plan to build its private cloud powered by VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF). This initiative will reinforce Bouygues Telecom IT network scalability and enhance its IT service delivery.
By transforming its private cloud, Bouygues Telecom aims to modernize its IT network and IT environments, optimizing resource utilization. VCF will offer a more secure, agile, and flexible infrastructure platform, accelerating product innovation. The transition to an infrastructure-as-a-service model will enable Bouygues Telecom’s developers and business units to respond swiftly to market changes, focusing on driving innovation and expediting new product launches.
Bouygues Telecom will scale up its private cloud, integrating automation for deployments, expanding service offerings, introducing a micro-segmentation approach on security with VMware NSX and boost the innovation process through Private AI. Jérôme Latrille, Technical Director of the Bouygues Telecom Network noted, "We rely on VMware technologies for future developments that will enhance automation and further our cloud journey."
Marc Dollois, Head of France, Software, Broadcom, added, "The deployment of VCF is a significant milestone. We're thrilled about our collaboration and proud to support Bouygues Telecom in achieving greater technological modernization and efficiency.
