Luigi Freguia is President for Broadcom’s Software Sales organization in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Luigi has responsibility for Broadcom’s software go-to-market sales strategy, planning and execution across the region with a focus on driving sales and consumption of its software portfolio both on premise and off Premise.

Prior to the acquisition of VMware by Broadcom in November 2023, Luigi held the position of Senior Vice President and General Manager, EMEA at VMware for over four years. He initially joined the organisation in 2014 as Vice President for VMware’s Central Region responsible for driving business growth and overseeing operations across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland and Eastern Europe.

Sylvain Cazard is the President for Asia Pacific and Japan, Broadcom. In this role, Cazard oversees the Broadcom software portfolio of business-critical enterprise software that modernizes, optimizes, and protects the world’s most complex hybrid IT environments. A 15-year VMware veteran and joining Broadcom through the acquisition of VMware, Cazard has held various senior leadership roles in both Asia Pacific and Japan as well as Europe, the Middle East and Africa. With more than 25 years’ hi-tech experience, Cazard started his career with SAP Business Objects in Europe, progressing through various management and sales positions in France and Iberia. Cazard graduated from the École Centrale with a degree in engineering, mechanics and computer science. He also holds an executive MBA in general management from Stanford University.
