The U.S. federal government is moving quickly to modernize IT, support AI adoption, and accelerate Zero Trust implementations. To help federal agencies get there faster and more affordably, the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) and Broadcom have announced a new OneGov agreement to provide access to AI-ready software.
Broadcom’s software solutions help agencies get more value from their existing investments in Broadcom’s private cloud platform by accelerating the deployment of AI and modern applications and achieving zero trust through multi-layer defense-in-depth, reducing agencies’ total cost of ownership. This agreement also supports Executive Order 14240, advancing the OneGov strategy’s goals of unified buying, commercial efficiency, and improved mission outcomes across federal agencies.
Under this new agreement, agencies can purchase select Broadcom software solutions at a 64% discount off the list price. These offers are valid until May 2027 across the following solutions:
- VMware Tanzu Platform reduces the time for agencies to achieve continuous Authorization to Operate (cATO), so they can build and release mission-critical, AI enabled applications more quickly, and securely. Designed to support a continuous security and compliance model, Tanzu Platform helps federal customers better manage their risk profile so they can mitigate critical vulnerabilities and improve their Mean Time to Recover (MTTR).
- VMware Tanzu Data Intelligence delivers centrally governed, low-latency access multi-modal data and analytics across organizations and is designed to enable the development of modern AI and agentic applications.
- VMware vDefend provides AI-ready lateral security and accelerates Zero Trust implementation to help agencies stay ahead of cyber threats, including ransomware and malware.
- VMware Avi Load Balancer provides AI-ready, software-defined modern application delivery to optimize application performance and workload-level visibility, and protects workloads from web application attacks. Together with VMware vDefend, the solutions strengthen resilience, compliance and security for organizations with a modern private cloud.
