Sylvain Cazard is the President for Asia Pacific and Japan, Broadcom. In this role, Cazard oversees the Broadcom software portfolio of business-critical enterprise software that modernizes, optimizes, and protects the world’s most complex hybrid IT environments. A 15-year VMware veteran and joining Broadcom through the acquisition of VMware, Cazard has held various senior leadership roles in both Asia Pacific and Japan as well as Europe, the Middle East and Africa. With more than 25 years’ hi-tech experience, Cazard started his career with SAP Business Objects in Europe, progressing through various management and sales positions in France and Iberia. Cazard graduated from the École Centrale with a degree in engineering, mechanics and computer science. He also holds an executive MBA in general management from Stanford University.
